Enfis achieves international quality standards recognition.

Enfis Secures ISO 9001 and ISO13485 for Design and Development of Medical, Industrial and Consumer Products.
18 August 2004, Swansea, Wales UK. Enfis Ltd announced today that following an exhaustive inspection process it has been accredited as being ISO 9001:2000 and ISO 13485:2003 compliant for its range of medical, industrial and consumer products. Companies that comply with these standards are recognised across the world as setting the highest standards in product, process and system quality standards.
Enfis is an acknowledged leader in the development and manufacture of high power LED modules. Its devices are used in numerous health and cosmetic applications including the treatment of dermatological conditions such as acne. To attain ISO 9001 and ISO 13485 compliance companies are required to establish a comprehensive quality management system and integrate it in all aspects of its thinking and operations.
"These standards are essentially the application of best practice from all industries. To be recognised as having achieved these standards by an independent, external body is a real milestone for the company," said Alun Board, Quality Manager at Enfis. “This achievement demonstrates the attitude within the Company that an accent on quality, which is reflected in the competitiveness of our products and our leadership, is enshrined in everything we do.”
Enfis was measured across the entire range of its activities from its research and product development programme to management reporting and invoicing activities.
